Primary oil and/or gas targets are the multi-stacked, high porosity and permeability clastic reservoirs which are shelf to slope reservoir sands of Plicene/Pleistocene to Upper Miocene age
Significant volumes of oil and gas have been discovered and produced in Miocene-Pliocene reservoirs of the Shokoloko, Toriye, Odium, Ofrima, Eweri and Asanga fields, all within a 35km radius of OML 144
The block contains one proven gas discovery (HI Field) located in the south-western part of the block
